While Digital Design service focuses on artwork that communicates through various digital media, the Graphic Design service creates visual images that center on viewers of print formats. When making these custom designs, SGI takes great thought and care into each artwork: what is the purpose, what result does the client want to see from the finished work, who will view the image, is the artwork for marketing, education, entertainment, or multiple purposes, and what viewer reaction can we expect from the completed image. SGI does not use templates; although templates are timesavers, they sometimes lack the sensitivity to convey a proper message or give adequate respect to an individual, project, or product intended to be honored or communicated.
Case Study in Detail: LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District)
Working with the MAST (Math, Art, Science, and Technology) magnet committee at University High School Charter, SGI researched the history of the school and its different departments and, from the findings, used our Graphic Design services to create this logo. The students and faculty were very pleased with the logo.

For the festival event at Cowan Avenue Elementary, with Ziggy Marley’s performance, SGI researched the client’s goals and objectives. Using the research information, SGI provided Graphic Design services and created the festival logo and T-shirts. SGI also worked with the Cowan staff and event committee and developed marketing materials, banners, and artwork for advertising.
